It was a lot of fun to work with this wonderfully positive coin character. I did character design based on an earlier illustration, giving him a slightly more cartoony vibe. After that I rigged the coin shaped body, the shoes and the hat in 3D. Hands and facial animation were drawn by frame-by-frame for that final classical cartoon style.
